Li Shipeng, also known as Chuan Qi, is a member of the Luoyang Calligraphy Association. He has loved calligraphy since childhood and, for over a decade, has regarded calligraphy as a major source of spiritual joy and a cherished hobby. Over the years, he has persistently practiced copying masterpieces by renowned historical calligraphers such as Yan Zhiqing and Wang Xizhi. While focusing on absorbing the essence of ancient masters, he frequently visits and participates in domestic and international calligraphy exhibitions and competitions to learn from their finest elements. His brushstrokes never seek eccentricity; instead, they flow naturally and effortlessly. He writes characters with discipline and lives his life with integrity. In 2018, he received an Excellence Award in a national calligraphy competition. In 2019, he enlisted in the military. Even during his service, he continued to practice calligraphy with meticulous dedication, diligently mastering various calligraphic styles, striving to elevate his skills further and to better understand the profound mysteries and joys of calligraphy.
