 Wen Yangsong, male, born in 1954, began working in 1970, enlisted in the army in December 1972, holds a bachelor’s degree, and is originally from Gushi County, Henan Province.

  During his military service, he often practiced penmanship in his spare time after training, and later developed a fondness for brush calligraphy while preparing blackboard newspapers for his company. After being transferred to civilian work, he continued practicing calligraphy in his spare time, mainly focusing on copying regular script and running script. With guidance from professional calligraphy teachers and years of personal practice, his calligraphy skills have continuously improved. In 2007, he won an Excellence Award in the Provincial Civil Servants Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In March 2008, he joined the Henan Branch of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association.Currently, he serves as a member, standing director, and deputy secretary-general of the Henan Branch of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the China Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and a member of the Beijing Great Wall Calligraphy and Painting Academy. His works have been selected multiple times for domestic calligraphy exhibitions organized by relevant institutions, with some winning awards.  In August 2019, he participated in the “I Love You, China” Calligraphy Exhibition Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, hosted by Guangming Net. His work was selected among the top 100 exhibited pieces and received an exquisite honorary certificate. The exhibited works are permanently displayed on “Guangming Net.” On October 16, 2019, he was also invited to Beijing as a representative of exhibiting artists to attend the opening ceremony of the calligraphy exhibition hosted by Guangming Converged Media.  His works have been selected three times for the Seoul Sino-Korean Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Exhibition in South Korea and collected by Korean institutions. His works have gained considerable social influence and have been collected by various organizations, enterprises, and private calligraphy enthusiasts.
