Tang Yingjie (formerly Tang Yongquan), born in 1973 in Henan, currently resides in Shenzhen. Third-generation disciple of Zhang Daqian, National First-Class Artist. Currently a member of the China Artists Association, member of the China Calligraphers Association, director of the Zhang Daqian Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, and director of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Public Welfare Alliance.   Passionate about calligraphy and painting since childhood, graduated with outstanding achievement from Guangzhou Academy of Calligraphy and Painting in 2015, studied under Professor Shi Yunxiang and Professor Dai Peiren (disciples of Zhang Daqian’s lineage) and teacher Chen Zhenyu, and received guidance from renowned masters such as Li Wenxiu and Su Zhenhua. Specializes in Ouyang Xun-style calligraphy, admires the Two Wangs, and also emulates the expressive brushwork of Su Shi and Mi Fu. Particularly skilled in small regular script, devoting diligent effort to regular script, running script, and large-character calligraphy. In traditional Chinese painting, focuses on landscape, with deep study of Shi Tao, Chen Shaomei, and Shen Zhou, extensively examining the Four Wangs, and conducting profound research into Huang Binhong and Zhang Daqian.   His calligraphy and painting works have been collected by corporate institutions such as Evergrande Group, Wanda Group, and Artron Art Auction Company, as well as private collectors; some works have been acquired overseas.   Artistic Resume In 2014, the work "Mountain within Mountain" won the Gold Award at the "Splendid China" National Calligraphy and Fine Arts Exhibition hosted by China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper; In 2015, the work "My Hometown" won an Excellence Award at the "Historic Monument National Calligraphy and Painting Competition" hosted by Hunan Provincial Artists Association; In 2015, the work "Clear Autumn" won an Excellence Award at the "5th Landscape Painting Exhibition" hosted by Guilin Artists Association; In 2018, the work "Night on the Li River" was selected for the "Chongyang Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition hosted by Henan Provincial Department of Culture; In 2018, the work "Peaceful Life" won the Second Prize at the "World Chinese Celebrating the Olympics Masters Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" hosted by China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper; In 2018, the work "Jia Mountain" won the Bronze Award at the "China Cultural Expo Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" hosted by the Ministry of Culture; In 2019, the work "Nine Summers" was selected for the "2009 National Chinese Painting Exhibition" hosted by the China Artists Association; In 2020, the work "Misty Rain by the Lakeside" was selected for the Second National Gongbi Painting Exhibition. In 2020, after eighteen months of meticulous hand-painting, completed a 12-meter replica of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," which was acquired by a Singaporean collector for 1.68 million RMB. Published collections include "Tang Yongquan Sketch Works Collection"; works have been published in journals such as China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, Art World, Collection World, and Calligraphy and Painting Fine Arts Newspaper.
