Personal Profile

Zhou Mingrun, male, born in 1950, native of Shangqiu City, Henan Province, with high school education, retired.

Currently holds the positions:
Academician of Shangqiu Yunhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy
Member of China Senior Calligraphers and Painters Association

Has loved calligraphy and seal carving since childhood; initially studied regular script, later practiced running script and clerical script, and currently focuses primarily on clerical script, running script, and seal carving. Joined Shangqiu Yunhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy in 2020 for further study and training, significantly advancing his artistic skills. His calligraphy works have been exhibited and awarded multiple times in national calligraphy and painting competitions.

Personal Honors

In June 2020, participated in a national calligraphy and painting competition organized by Hunan Sanxiang Children’s Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute; submitted work received an exhibition award and was appointed as a specially invited researcher of the institute, with official appointment certificate issued.
In December 2020, submitted work featuring Chairman Mao’s poem “Feng Yu Song Chun Gui” in the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition Commemorating the 127th Anniversary of Chairman Mao’s Birth, winning the Gold Award and receiving an honorary certificate.
