Personal Profile

Gao Wen, pen name Mo Shi, was born in 1956 in Huinan County, Heilongjiang Province, a member of the Communist Party of China,passionate about music, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, and prose. He began learning calligraphy from his mentor Mr. Guo Tiexiao at an early age, diligently practicing ancient masterpieces and inscriptions, deeply absorbing classical techniques and developing his own distinctive style, particularly skilled in clerical script and running-cursive script.His calligraphic works have won awards at national, provincial, municipal, and railway system levels; his literary works have been published in newspapers and journals such as "Three Rivers Water," "Science Education Culture Review," "Three Rivers Evening News," "Jiamusi Daily," "Jiamusi Youth Calligraphy Newspaper," and others.He is currently a member of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, a member of the China Railway Calligraphy Artists Association, a member of the Provincial Calligraphy Association, a council member of the Harbin Railway Bureau Literary Federation, a member of the Chinese Wanli Xing Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, a member of the Jiamusi City Calligraphy Artists Association, an advisor to the Jiamusi Landscape Painting Academy, a researcher at the Jiamusi Jiusan Society Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and the Executive President of the Jiamusi Suburb CPPCC Calligraphy and Painting Academy, as well as a standing committee member of the district CPPCC.
