Yuan Yingcai, Art Name: Moyuan, born in 1985, Manchu, from Hulin, Heilongjiang Province. Graduated from Northeast Agricultural University with a Master’s degree. Formerly employed at the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security under the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. Currently serves as Director of the Heilongjiang Smart Agriculture Alliance and a entrepreneurship mentor at the Entrepreneurship Education College of Heilongjiang universities. Member of the Heilongjiang Calligraphers Association, Special Guest Artist of the Sydney Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Member of the National Public Security Literature and Art Federation Calligraphers Association, Member of the Inner Mongolia Popular Literature Research Society, First President of the Calligraphers Association of the Inner Mongolia Hulunbuir Border Defense Brigade, Chairman of the Calligraphers Association of the China Manzhouli Border Inspection Station. His works have been collected by numerous national leaders and were presented as “provincial gifts” by the provincial government, the Department of Agriculture, and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences to countries such as Norway, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Russia, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. In 2011, his work won the Special Award in the Heilongjiang Region of the National Standardized Chinese Character Writing Competition. In 2012, his work won the First Prize in the Political Work Competition of the Eastern Collaboration Zone of the Inner Mongolia Border Defense General Corps. In 2013, his work won first place in the Inner Mongolia Border Defense General Corps Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In 2014, he won the First Prize in the Qingdao Youth Calligraphers Exhibition. In 2016, his work was featured in full page in “Rural Big Market”; exhibited at the “Heilongjiang Green Expo”; invited to inscribe characters for the “International Kimchi Cultural Industry Festival” held in South Korea, with the work collected by Gwangju, South Korea. In 2017, awarded the title of “Most Influential Artist” in the “Art Moves China” Cup; invited to present calligraphy as a gift to the China-Japan JICA project; work included in China Post’s limited-edition commemorative stamp album “The Belt and Road, the Chinese Dream”; inscribed the three large characters “Harbin” for the Harbin exhibition area of the Fourth China-Russia Expo; featured in special reports by the Hong Kong Financial Daily and the Youth Calligraphy Newspaper; work archived by the authoritative Chinese portal website Ten Thousand Art Network; invited to name the “Cangwu Green Garden” park in Lianyungang; invited to write the book title for the Northeast Agricultural University publication “Wang Jinling, the Titan of Soybean Science”; wrote the opening theme inscription for the nationwide soybean conference organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; In 2018, interviewed by CCTV’s “Smart China” program and included in the magazine “China Travelogue”; awarded the title of “Artist with the Greatest Collectible Value”; included in the Encyclopedia of Chinese Painters and Calligraphers; inscribed “Qianren Gang” and “Wanli Liu” for historical site restoration in Jiangxi Province; selected as an Outstanding Young Talent of Heilongjiang Province; In 2018, invited to inscribe for the 13th Ice City Cardiovascular Disease Academic Conference. During the medical academic exchange, Chinese delegates presented the calligraphy work titled “City of Hope,” commissioned by Mr. Yuan Yingcai, a contracted calligrapher of Heilongjiang Daily, to the American side, promoting the dissemination of traditional Chinese culture across the ocean.
