Personal Profile

Shen Chunfeng, born in 1976, is from Qiqihar, Heilongjiang. She is a student at Xie Mei Pavilion Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and has loved the art of painting and calligraphy since childhood, especially freehand-style plum blossoms. She studies under teacher Yan Shi, learning various techniques for painting plum blossoms with humility. Since ancient times, the plum blossom has been cherished by poets, as expressed in lines such as "The sword's edge comes from sharpening; the plum blossom's fragrance arises from bitter cold" and "Without experiencing piercing cold, how could one gain the fragrant scent of plum blossoms?"
