Personal Profile

Wang Yongxin, male, born on June 1, 1951, a member of the Communist Party of China, is a renowned painter from Heilongjiang Province, currently residing in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. He formerly served as Secretary-General and President of the Heilongjiang Postal Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a council member of the Senior Chinese Painting Branch of the Harbin Artists Association, a council member of the Heilongjiang Branch of the Chinese Figures Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a member of the Municipal Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Association.
He is currently a member of the Harbin Artists Association and Vice President of the Qingbin Branch of the Harbin Ground Writing Association.
For many years, he has been engaged in the research and creation of peony paintings, developing a unique artistic style. His works have been published in numerous national art publications and have won awards in multiple national art competitions. In March 2010, he was awarded the First Prize for Fine Art in the National Competition of Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal Carving.
In May 2010, he won the Creation Award at the China National Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Competition during the Shanghai Expo.
In July 2010, he received the Honorary Award at the "Oriental Yun Guan" National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and his work was collected by the organizing committee.
In May 2015, he won the First Prize at the 6th National "Xizhi Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
On June 25, 2016, he was rated as an "Outstanding Chinese Painter" by the China Calligraphy and Painting International Qualification Evaluation Center, with a market value of RMB 3,000 per square foot domestically and USD 600 per square foot internationally; on the same day, he was appointed as Associate Researcher by the Beijing Huaxia Qinglian Calligraphy and Painting Academy; on May 5, 2018, he was appointed as a Senior Painter and Council Member by the Heilongjiang Branch of the China Famous Artists Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
