Wang Dongbin

Wang Dongbin, First-Class Artist of the China Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Art and Craft Artist, Council Member of the Heilongjiang Branch of the China Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Senior Designer in Heilongjiang Province, Member of the Heilongjiang Association of Exhibition Design, Member of the Heilongjiang Association of Industrial Design, and Member of the Yanjing Baima Painting Society. From 1983 to 1995, he won 17 national, Northeastern Three Provinces, and Heilongjiang Provincial awards for outstanding packaging design, among which his self-locking pipe wrench packaging design was published in China Packaging Magazine. In 1991, his poster "Oriental Moscow" won a grand prize at the National Advertising Poster Exhibition and was published in Exhibition Magazine. He has participated for many years in the design work of the Harbin Ice and Snow World Expo and received high praise from the Expo Organizing Committee. In 2016, he participated in the China Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy's "Great Beauty of Tibet—Mythical Yala" large-scale fieldwork and creation activity, personally creating 10 portraits, with one additional piece held in personal collection.
