Currently a visiting professor at the Business School of the Chinese Academy of Management Science, National First-Class Artist, member of the China Art Society, professional painter, currently serving as Secretary-General of the Landscape Painting Committee at Guangzhou Shanxing Calligraphy and Painting Academy, former council member of Beijing Hongtao Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and currently holding the position of Secretary-General of the Hengshui Cainiao Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Member of the Contemporary Xugu Chinese Painting Research Association.Since childhood, he has been passionate about fine arts. After graduating from junior high school in 1982, he furthered his studies at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He once studied under Master Sun Qifeng. Over the subsequent decades, he has devoted himself to researching traditional Chinese painting, regarding Master Xugu as his spiritual mentor. He integrates culture and history into his paintings, promoting China’s traditional cultural virtues. He has held multiple solo large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibitions, receiving high praise from domestic and international audiences. His works have been collected by many renowned individuals, during which time he developed his own painting techniques and rich artistic experience.
Achievements of his works: His artworks have been collected by friends from home and abroad. In 1998, his work was collected and highly praised by Mr. Yaguchi Koji from Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. In 2017, Ms. Megumi Wada of Tokyo collected multiple pieces and offered high admiration, purchasing them at premium prices. In December 2020, Secretary Yang Huaying of the China Party Building Academy personally visited the Cainiao Calligraphy and Painting Academy, offering high appraisal and appreciation, and collected two representative masterpieces on-site. In 2018, he participated in public welfare activities for Wenchuan. His works are collected across numerous regions domestically, reaching the realm described as: “Green mountains, unbrushed, form a thousand-year painting; clear waters, untuned, play an eternal melody.”
