Personal Profile

Qu Changfu: Art name Mengshan, pseudonym Yushi. Born in 1941 in Tailai County, Heilongjiang Province. Graduated from Liaoning University and the Air Force Command College. Served successively as Deputy Director of the Political Department of the Third Air Force Corps. Awarded the Second-Class Model title and received three audiences with Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, and other leaders. After transferring to civilian service, he served as Deputy Director of the Dalian Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. He personally went to the front lines of disaster relief multiple times to participate in and command rescue operations, for which the municipal government awarded him commendations.
