Sun Yajie, Han Chinese, born in 1960, is a First-Class Artist at the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy and a Council Member of the Heilongjiang Branch of the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. He is also a member of the Heilongjiang Artists Association. Since childhood, he has had a deep passion for art. In 1978, he was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of the Qiqihar Normal School in Heilongjiang Province, where he systematically studied drawing, color theory, and other disciplines. Upon graduation in 1980, he was assigned to teach art at an elementary school, where he worked diligently and became a core figure in art education within the city and district. After two years of teaching, he furthered his studies at the Fine Arts Department of Harbin Normal University. Due to his continuous efforts in learning and research, his painting skills and mentoring abilities have steadily improved. Over more than 30 years of teaching, he has cultivated numerous talented young artists whose works have been exhibited and awarded at national, international, provincial, and municipal levels. Some of his students’ works have even been published in the Fine Arts textbook of Qiqihar Normal School in Heilongjiang Province.     Works Appreciation
