Personal Profile

Luo Zhihai,born in 1946, has been passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood, especially fond of figure painting. Due to work commitments, he could only practice as an amateur; in 1977, he won an excellence award at the Four-City Painting Exhibition in Hebei Province and a second prize at the Hebei Health System Cartoon Touring Exhibition. He is a member of the China Society for Research on Painting by Middle-aged and Elderly Artists. Since 2007, he has been studying Jia Youfu's Taihang Mountain landscape painting while also continuing to practice figure painting.
