Yu Zhen

Yu Zhizhen | Zi Han | Studio Name: Qing Shixuan, Yongding native, member of Shijiazhuang Artists Association, member of Hebei Province Artists Association, and member of Jiuhu Seal Society. Since childhood, he has been fond of painting. In 1999, he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, studying Chinese painting and calligraphy under Zhen Zhongyi, Tan Jingtao, and Zhou Yingqi. He once worked as a fine arts editor for Hebei Business Daily, an editor for China Education Forum Magazine, and an editor for Hebei Qianjin Steel Group Newspaper. Despite his busy work schedule, he never forgets his original aspirations. From 2004 to 2005, he studied in the Advanced Study Class of Flower-and-Bird Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Main Works 2009: "A View of All Mountains Small" won the Excellence Award at Langfang New Year's Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. 2011: "Yellow Flowers and Green Vines Amidst Fruits, Painting West Wind and Rain on a Fence" won second prize at the Academy Cup and was collected by the organizing committee. 2013: "Immortal Dwelling Picture" won third prize at the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. 2014: "Returning Pastoral Scene in the Wind and Rain" won first prize at the Flying Dreams - Former Steel Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition and was collected. 2015: The paper "Discussion on How to Cultivate Children's Imagination and Creativity in Painting" was published by Guangming Daily Press in Contemporary Education Theory and Practice and won third prize. 2016: "Hometown Affection" won second prize at the National Art Teacher Works Tour Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture Development Center.
