       Tan Dianxing, art name Mo Sheng, painting inscription name Dianxing, male, Han nationality, born in April 1970 in Hebei Weixian County. In 1987, he met the painter Mo Daoren; in 1988, after graduating from middle school, he formally became a lay disciple of Master Mo Daoren and began studying Chinese painting. He has a particular preference for painting plum blossoms, as well as landscapes and scenery. In 1990, he attended further studies at Shijiazhuang University in Hebei, where he was personally instructed by the renowned painter Professor Zhao Xinfang. In 2015, he participated in the Advanced Research Class for Sketching in the Nan Taihang Mountains, led by Professor Shi Yunxiang from Tsinghua University, and gained profound insights.
       He is currently Vice Chairman of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, Council Member of the China Red Culture Calligraphers and Painters Association, Council Member of the China People's Artists Association, Member of the Hebei Branch of the China Artists Association, and a specially invited painter of the China Bayi Academy of Painting. He is also a member of the editorial board of the "China Calligraphers and Painters 365" calendar.
