Yunju Xuan

Personal Profile

Yunju Xuan, born in 1970, studied Gongbi painting under Master Zhang Yongli, a renowned Gongbi artist from Shandong, in 1988. Later, under the guidance of Master Zhang Shaoshi, a disciple of the Qi School master Lou Shibai, he shifted his focus to freehand brushwork in flower-and-bird and landscape painting. He is a professional painter at Yichang Art Academy and a member of the China Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Society.
