He is a member of the Chongzhi Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Laishui County, a member of the China Era Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a senior member of the China-Japan Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Forum, and a senior member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Courtyard. His principle of practicing calligraphy is: "Persist in seeking common ground while reserving differences, writing in reverse, viewing the world from both正面 and reverse perspectives, and constantly seeking brilliance everywhere." He employs diverse expressive forms to highlight the beauty of Chinese characters. His unique script style has been acknowledged by experts in the field: its form resembles Manchu script of the Qing Dynasty; its shape resembles Korean Hangul; it cannot be recognized without reverse observation, exhibiting remarkable originality. The brushwork conveys lofty elegance and refined charm, and where ink falls, one seems to perceive the wild fragrance of rare aromas. "Without enduring the bitter chill that gnaws at the bones, how could plum blossoms emit their sweet fragrance?" Through years of diligent practice, Yu Chunsheng's calligraphy features strong, upright, and resilient lines, exuding powerful vitality. Viewing his work feels like a refreshing breeze brushing against the face, offering viewers confidence, inspiration, and a visual artistic experience.
