Liang Dafang, styled Yiyuan, also known as Master of Chengming Hall, hails from Shanxi Province. Born in December 1965, Han ethnicity, he holds a university degree and graduated from the People’s Liberation Army Automobile Management College. He served in the military for over 20 years and, in 2002, transferred from the Fourth Flight Academy of the Beijing Military Region Air Force of the People’s Liberation Army to work in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. He is currently a National First-Class Calligrapher, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, and academician of the Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy. His calligraphy works have been included in the Chinese Post “Harmonious China—Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return” commemorative stamp album, and have been officially approved and published by the national postal authorities as postage stamps and philatelic albums, renowned as the “National Emblem.” He was honored as “Calligraphy Master of Annual Influence” and “Artist of Annual Collectible Value” in the 2017 China Calligraphy and Painting Awards.
       Artistic Achievements Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy, diligently practicing brushwork and deeply studying various styles. He specializes in clerical and running scripts, and also excels in seal and regular scripts. He frequently participates in national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy events and exhibitions, with his works often collected by successful individuals, business elites, and calligraphy enthusiasts. His works have won multiple awards and been exhibited in national-level calligraphy and painting competitions.
