 Li Huafang, styled Fangcao, is from Xiongxian, Baoding City, Hebei Province. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, Hebei Calligraphers Association, Langfang City Calligraphers Association, and Hu Society. He serves as a calligraphy professor at the Film and Television Center of the Communist Youth League Central Committee and has been awarded the title of "Charity Angel" by the Zhejiang Thousand-Hand Guanyin Foundation. He is also Deputy Chief Editor of China Charity Network and Chief Editor of Calligraphy Art. His works have been collected and engraved on steles by the Xi'an Huaxia Stele Forest Academy. In 2018, his works were collected by the Great Hall of the People, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, and the National Museum of China. Since childhood, he has had a deep passion for calligraphy, inspired early on by his father. He initially focused on regular script, and beginning in 1985, he primarily studied the running and cursive scripts of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Mi Fu, Zhao Mengfu, and Wen Zhengming. In 1995, under the guidance of Master Qi Gong, he gained profound insights into the essence of calligraphy and subsequently began creating his own calligraphic works.
