Personal Profile

Liu Jingqi, member of the Hebei Provincial Branch of the China Artists Association, member of the Ink and Wash Painting Academy of China Education Television, and Charity Ambassador of the Art Education Fund of the China Social Welfare Foundation. He graduated from Hebei Academy of Fine Arts in 1985, studying under Master Xu Hongbin, a disciple of the renowned ink painting master Li Kuchan, and Master Tang Xinyi, a master of detailed brushwork. After years of research and exploration, he pioneered a new artistic form and technique—paper tie-dye painting. His works have been exhibited domestically and in the United States and Japan, and are collected by art collectors and friends.
