Jia Wenhua

Jia Wenhua: born in 1977, from Weixian County, Hebei Province. Disciple of the famous painter Mr. Guo Mingtang, and member of Hebei Provincial Artists Association. Specializes in landscape painting, with expertise in flowers and birds as well as figure painting. In 2011, he was selected for the "Homeland Ode" National Competition held by the Department of Cultural Industry of the China Countryside and Art Association and won an excellence award. In 2013, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Chairman Mao Zedong's birth, he participated in the "Great Wall Cup" calligraphy and painting exhibition of the Mutianyu Great Wall International Culture Festival and won an excellence award. In 2014, he won the Best Landscape Painting Creation Award at the "Chinese Dream, Taking the Imperial Examination" (Runxing Cup) National Calligraphy and Painting Masters Exhibition.
