Liu Dong, a native of Cangzhou, Hebei Province, is a master of folk art and crafts in Hebei Province, a council member of the Chinese Traditional Inside Painting Committee,a council member of the Ji School Inside Painting Association,and vice president of the Chinese Snuff Bottle Culture Research Association.He has loved painting since childhood. During middle school, he began formal training in traditional Chinese painting, laying a solid foundation for his future career in inside painting art. In 2000, he became an apprentice to inside painting master Huang San. Due to his diligence and exceptional talent, his skills progressed rapidly. His works are praised by professionals for their delicate brushwork and vivid portrayal. He excels in a wide range of subjects, including flowers, birds, figures, and landscapes, and has created inside paintings for many international friends. He also founded Beijing Yingjuntang Art Co., Ltd., located at No. 215, 3rd Floor, Hongqiao Market, Tian Tan East Road, Beijing, a professional company integrating design, production, and painting of snuff bottles. From material selection, cutting, shaping, drilling, hollowing out, internal sandblasting to painting, the company employs a team of skilled traditional craft masters and meticulous painting artists who specialize in complex patterns such as figures, landscapes, flowers, birds, and animals. Their works are widely loved by snuff bottle enthusiasts at home and abroad, with numerous outstanding pieces collected. In recent years, with rising living standards and increasing appreciation for traditional Chinese culture and art, the company has begun using natural crystals and agates, combining the inherent textures of the stones with the ingenuity and painting skills of its artists, resulting in unique and rare masterpieces that are truly one-of-a-kind!
