Born in 197 6 into a scholarly family, he developed a deep passion for calligraphy and painting since childhood. Influenced by his father, he began practicing calligraphy and painting at the age of seven. His启蒙 teacher was Yang Guozhang, a scholar from the late Qing Dynasty, educator during the Republic of China era, and a folk artist. He subsequently studied under several folk artists, practicing diligently year-round without interruption, laying a solid foundation for his artistic path.

Drawing widely from diverse influences and developing unique innovations, his self-created composite-character research is particularly exceptional. His works integrate characters into paintings, paintings into meaning, and meaning into artistic realms, vividly reflecting the origins of Chinese pictographic characters. He frequently exchanges and learns with renowned local calligraphers and painters, receiving meticulous guidance from masters such as Pan Qingxi and Liu Xiaosheng. Later, he formally studied under Du Chuanwei, a master of Mao-style calligraphy, planner of Mao-style calligraphy competitions, and one of the founders of the Mao Calligraphy Association, benefiting deeply from Master Du’s rigorous instruction.
