Wu Xiuzhen, styled Yuansè, born in 1968, originally from Hebei Tangshan, graduated from the Art Department of Hebei Normal University, has been engaged in art education, teaching, and research practice for over 30 years, studying under renowned calligraphy and painting masters such as Liu Fusheng, Jia Yonglin, and Yang Hong. Her calligraphy, paintings, and academic papers have won numerous awards at national, provincial, and municipal levels. In 1990, she won the First Prize in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for the Asian Games; in 1998, she won the First Prize in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition; in 2001, she received the First Prize for Art Education Research Achievements in the city. She has been honored with titles including Hebei Provincial Model Teacher for Ethics, Hebei Provincial Key Teacher in Art Discipline, and Outstanding Teacher and Advanced Worker in Art Education in Tangshan City. She serves as a council member of the Hebei Provincial Art Education Research Association and a council member of the Tangshan Calligraphy and Painting Association.
