Personal Profile
Li Xinze, male, born in 1949, native of Quyang County, Hebei Province. Influenced by his parents, he has loved calligraphy since childhood, first studying Liu Kai script, later Ouyang Xun’s Kai script, and also learning from the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi. He studied under renowned calligraphers and painters Yu Zhixue, Mei Mosheng, Fang Luo, Yang Zonglin, and Zhen Jingxin, and graduated from the Advanced Research Class for Cultural and Art Talents. He is a National Senior Calligrapher, State Gift Artist, and Guest Researcher.He has won multiple gold, silver, and bronze awards in national calligraphy competitions. His works have been exhibited multiple times at the National Art Exhibition Center, Military Museum, Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Workers’ Cultural Palace, and the Water Cube.Many of his works have been presented as state gifts to diplomatic envoys from Spain and Belarus, as well as to foreign friends.His calligraphy piece “Belt and Road Acrostic Poem” was selected for exhibition and collection by the Ministry of Culture’s National Art Talents Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and has been touring exhibitions in Belt and Road countries.
He currently serves as Standing Director of the Talent Committee of the Cultural Information Association under the Ministry of Culture, member of the China Calligraphers and Artists Association, member of the China National Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, member of the Chinese Couplet Society, Academician of the Tianjin Couplet and Calligraphy Academy, member of the Tianjin Poetry Society, and Standing Director of the Tianjin Haitian Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
