Wang Wanshun, pen name Chuan Ye, graduated from the College of Chinese Language and Literature at Southwest University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a senior lecturer in Chinese hard pen calligraphy, a council member of the China International Calligraphers Association, a member of the Beijing Bangshu Calligraphy Association, a member of the provincial calligraphy association, a member of the provincial hard pen calligraphy association, an academician of the Beijing Renhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a calligraphy lecturer at the Yanzhao Calligraphy and Painting Activity Center. He began systematically studying calligraphy at the age of 16, primarily researching the stele rubbings and theories of renowned masters such as Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing, Ouyang Xun, and Wang Xizhi, and is skilled in regular script, running script, and cursive script. He has participated multiple times in provincial and national calligraphy competitions and exhibitions, winning first prize three times and second prize twice in the national “Three Writing Styles” competition for teachers. He has won second prize twice in national calligraphy and painting competitions, received second prize in exhibitions commemorating the 10th and 20th anniversaries of China’s Hong Kong’s return, won a silver award in the “Chinese Dream • Belt and Road” calligraphy and painting competition, a bronze award in the first “Baihua Award” Chinese Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Competition, and bronze and gold awards in the 4th and 5th “Ink Fragrance” International Calligraphy Competitions, etc. In 2017, he was honored as a “Belt and Road” Calligraphy and Painting Master and the Most Influential Calligraphy Artist!
