Personal Profile
Li Wenxiao, native of Hengshui City, Hebei Province. Graduated from the Advanced Creation Class of Ice and Snow Painting at the Chinese Academy of Ice and Snow Art, studying under the renowned painter Mr. Zhao Chunqiu. Appointed painter of the Chinese Academy of Ice and Snow Art and Director of the Chinese Painting Committee; Vice President and Director of the Education Department of the Online Education College of the Chinese Academy of Ice and Snow Art. Currently studying in the Advanced Research Class of Zhao Chunqiu Studio at the School of Painting, Renmin University of China. Member of the Hengshui Municipal Artists Association; Member of the Calligraphy and Painting Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Alliance; Academician of the Chinese Buddhist Art Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. His painting "Spring Mountains" won the second prize in the 70th Anniversary Commemoration of the Victory of the Anti-Fascist War and the First Joint Art Exhibition of Hengshui City. The work "Mountain Dwelling at Dusk Under Snow with Sunset Glow" was selected for the "Harmony in Diversity: Northeast Asia Calligraphy and Painting Gathering" in 2016, hosted by the Artists Association of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and China International Broadcasting Corporation. In 2018, "Peach Blossoms Reflecting on Snow" was selected for the Sixth "Beautiful Pinggu—Ink Wash Zhouzhuang" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In 2018, "Frost-Dyed Cold Alley" and "Plum Blossoms Intoxicated by Cold Stream" were included in the collection "Ink and Brush Through the Ages." Works such as "Auspicious Snow on the Great Wall" and "Peach Blossoms in March with Lush Spring Colors" have received Excellence Awards in successive painting exhibitions held in Hengshui City.
