Zhao Yuhong, born in 1968, is from Dongguang, Hebei. In 1986, he studied hard-pen calligraphy under the renowned Chinese hard-pen calligrapher Mr. Lu Tong. In 1989, he graduated after completing a three-year correspondence course in calligraphy at the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. In 2002, he studied for one year in a graduate correspondence program under Mr. Li Yixing, editor of “Chinese Calligraphy” magazine. He currently holds social positions in national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy and art associations: Council Member of the China Cross-Strait Calligraphers and Painters Association, Member of the China Calligraphy Art Association, Committee Member of the Seal Carving and Inscription Department of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association (also serving as Staff Member of the Youth Department Teaching Office and Senior Lecturer), Committee Member of the Art Committee of the China Calligraphy Research Institute, Academician of the China Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute,Shandong Provincial Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association Executive Council Member,Shandong Provincial Calligraphers Association Member,Inner Mongolia Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute Invited Calligrapher, Dean of Dezhou Branch, Sai Shang Lu Xi Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
