Lu Huanzhang, courtesy name: Haiyang, art name: Moqu, native of Hebei Qinhuangdao, Grade Two Calligrapher. Began studying calligraphy at age twelve under the tutelage of renowned calligrapher Mr. Liu Changqing. Started participating in various calligraphy competitions at age twenty, winning awards including Merit Awards, Second Prizes, various certificates of honor, trophies, and medals. Participated in the 2019 "In the Name of the People" Global Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition, receiving a Merit Award; participated in the 2019 "New Era, New Journey" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition, receiving Third Prize; and awarded the 2019 Calligraphy Art Model Figure honorary trophy. Current appraisal and pricing: RMB 2,000 per square chi in the domestic market, USD 300 per square chi in the international market. His works have been collected by numerous institutions and individuals from all walks of life; representative works include "Tian Xing Jian," "Hai Na Bai Chuan," and "One-Stroke Tiger."
