 Liu Feng, styled Yunfeng, is a professional painter born in 1978 in Cangzhou, Hebei. He specializes in creating landscape, figure, and animal paintings. In 1997, he enrolled in the Shandong Academy of Arts for further studies. In 2008, he attended the Chinese Painting Advanced Research Class at Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design, focusing on landscape painting. His field sketching has taken him across the length and breadth of China, resulting in numerous monumental works depicting the magnificent landscapes of the motherland. His artworks have been exhibited in national large enterprises, exhibition halls, major conference rooms, five-star hotels, and guesthouses. His works feature steady coloring, subtle and restrained expression, bold and free brushwork, and rich, vivid variations in brushstrokes and ink tones—ranging from dry to wet, light to dark. The style is elegant and graceful, naturally rustic and ancient, with profound artistic conception and abundant charm. In 2014, he attended Zeng Gang’s Colored Ink Landscape Painting Research Class; the same year, his work “Jiangnan Fisherman’s Song” won an Excellence Award in a national painting and calligraphy competition. His work “Autumn Melody of Taihang” received the Outstanding Creation Award at the 1st National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in 2018. In 2019, he participated in the “Zhenji Cup” Chinese Painting Masters Invitational Exhibition and was awarded the title of . His works have consistently received high praise from collectors.
