    Li Xuewen, styled Liyu, originally from Dingxing, Hebei, was born in 1946 in Daxing, south of Beijing, and has long resided beside Yuyuantan Lake on Fuxing Road in Beijing. Graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology, he is a senior engineer and a visiting professor of art education at the China Education Alliance. Currently, he is a member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Federation; a member of the Great Wall Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association; a director and editor-in-chief of the journal at the China Calligraphy Art Research Institute; an executive director of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Promotion Association; vice president of the China Artists Collection Association; honorary president of the Beijing Contemporary Global Calligraphy and Painting Academy; president of the Jinglu Calligraphy and Painting Academy; and vice president of the Beijing Ground Calligraphy Association.
    Li Xuewen has received awards including: First Prize in the Taoran Cup Ground Calligraphy Competition; Silver Award in the Sheyan Cup National Calligraphy Competition; Gold Award in the First "Chinese Dream" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition; Gold Award in the First "Lanting·Xizhi Award" Art Invitational Exhibition, and more than ten other honors.Li Xuewen’s calligraphy has been exhibited in the "Belt and Road" International Calligraphy and Painting Tour, displayed in countries such as France, Russia, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. His biography and numerous calligraphy works have been included in publications such as Archives of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters; Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters; Cloud Collection of Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces by Chinese Artists; Fine Works Collection of the Louvre Museum China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Invitational Exhibition; Ziguangge National Gift Celebrities Record; Chinese Art Collection; Chinese Artists; Encyclopedia of Contemporary World Art Masters; and Global Art Figures. He has been featured in People's Daily, Tencent, Artlink, China Calligraphy and Painting Network, Global Arts Network, Cangyi Network, NetEase, and Sohu. The “Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Subscription” has published 104 episodes of “Li Xuewen’s Doodles,” containing over 1,400 of his calligraphy works.
