 Yang Zhenxia, styled Yangzi, was born in 1971 in Ningjin, Hebei — known as the hometown of meticulous brush painting. She studied under the renowned meticulous painter Wang Huiying (President of the Ningjin Meticulous Painting Association) and also received long-term instruction from masters Li Huigang and Ma Yuhong. She formerly served as a member of the Xingtai City Artists Association of Hebei Province and Vice President of the Hebei Overseas Chinese Business Artists Association. She specializes in flower-and-bird paintings, traditional court ladies, figures, Buddhist statues, and more. Her notable works include “Phoenix City,” “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix,” and “Legends of Ningjin.” Her works have been exhibited and awarded at various levels; “Legends of Ningjin” won the “Best Creative Award” at the First Ningjin Young Artists Exhibition, and “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix” was included in the Collection of Original Works by Ningjin Young Artists, receiving high praise from renowned artists!
