Personal Profile

Li Xianfeng: Master of Liangji Xuan, originally from Yanshan County, Cangzhou, Hebei, studied at the Art Department of Hebei Normal University in 1989. Studied under renowned painters Zhao Youhong and Lu Yunian. Specializes in meticulous-style animal and bird-and-flower paintings. Council member of the China National Academy of Painting, member of the Inner Mongolia Artists Association, member of the Beijing Fine Brush and Heavy Color Painting Association, Vice Chairman of Saihan District Calligraphy Association, and President of Inner Mongolia Yanzhao Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In 2011, his work "Waiting" was selected for the 2nd Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Youth Art Exhibition. In 2011, his work "Waterfront" was selected for the National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In 2012, his work "Soul of the Snow Region" participated in the 3rd National Workers’ Art Festival Painting Exhibition co-hosted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, CCTV, and the China Artists Association. In August 2013, Hohhot TV Station interviewed and broadcast a personal promotional video on Li Xianfeng’s Tibetan Mastiff paintings. In 2016, he held the "Qingcheng Ink Melody" painting exhibition at the Inner Mongolia Art Museum.
