Ambassador for Public Welfare in China, Director of Shan'ai Culture and Art Troupe, National Martial Arts Champion (National First-Class Athlete), National Second-Class Film and Television Actor (Martial Arts Director), Council Member of the Chinese Confucian Business Calligraphy and Painting Association, Invited Performer for CCTV.
Born in 1987, he studied at Wuji Yanzhao Martial Arts School and graduated from Hebei Institute of Physical Education. He consecutively won the national Sanda martial arts championship for five years and was awarded the title of National First-Class Athlete. He once served as the personal bodyguard for the famous singer (Ah Du). In 2008, he entered the entertainment industry, performing unique Chinese traditional skills and stunts, and was frequently invited to appear on various television programs. He became a specially invited guest performer for CCTV and Hebei TV. By chance, he received guidance from Master Liu Xiao Ling Tong in portraying the Monkey King, and in 2016, he won the National Popularity Champion at China’s Folk Spring Festival Gala.
In 2013, he entered the film and television industry as an ordinary martial arts stunt double. After years of hard work and perseverance, he gradually achieved success, serving as a martial arts director in several films and TV dramas and beginning to take on minor acting roles, thus gaining local fame in his hometown.
In 2016, he founded the (Wuji County Shan'ai Culture and Art Troupe), offering free artistic training to underprivileged students. To date, many of these students have appeared in major CCTV television series and multiple films. In the same year, he also established (Shan'ai Calligraphy and Painting Academy), (Shan'ai Dumpling Restaurant), and (Shan'ai Public Welfare Brigade). Shan'ai Dumpling Restaurant provides free meals for all sanitation workers in the county and seniors aged 65 and above. Shan'ai Calligraphy and Painting Academy generates income through the sale of calligraphy and paintings, with all proceeds managed by the Shan'ai Public Welfare Brigade to support underprivileged students, elderly without family, and so far, the Shan'ai organization has assisted 127 impoverished students, 92 elderly without family, and 39 patients with illnesses.
Tang Yafu’s charitable deeds have drawn the attention of leaders at all levels and numerous media outlets, earning him the title of “Chinese Wonder Man.”
