        Title of “2019 China-Russia Friendship Art Ambassador”

        Won the Second Prize in the 3rd National Calligraphy Competition in 2018.
        In October 2018, participated in the 9th “China’s Best Calligraphy” Regular Script and Running Script Copying Competition organized by the China Online Calligraphy Alliance and won the Excellence Award; honored with the title of “China Online Calligraphy Master”.
        Won the Silver Award in the “Hundred Flowers Greet Spring” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2019.
        Won the First Prize in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2019.
        Won the Gold Award in both the Painting and Calligraphy Categories in the “Art in the New Era” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2019.

        On May 9, 2019, won the Silver Award in the First “Golden Key Cup” Chinese Filial Culture Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
        On June 1, 2019, won dual Gold Awards in both the Painting and Calligraphy Categories in the 2nd “Lanting Art Award” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
        On July 18, 2019, won the Special Gold Award in the Painting Category and the Silver Award in the Calligraphy Category in the “Ode to the Motherland” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC.

        On November 11, 2019, the ink painting “Dawn in the East” won the Gold Award in the Painting Category, and the calligraphy work “Self-Improvement Never Ceases” in small seal script won the Gold Award in the Calligraphy Category in the 1st Contemporary Art Award National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
        In the 2020 “Hundred Flowers Art Award” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, won Gold Awards in both the Painting and Calligraphy Categories.

My two submitted artworks were auctioned at the “Hanmo Zhonghua Spring Festival Auction”. One is a small handscroll of the Heart Sutra measuring 35cm x 320cm, and the other is a full four-foot freehand ink painting; both were successfully auctioned for 172,500 RMB each.
        Calligraphy works selected for the “2nd Friendship and Peace - China-Japan Calligraphy and Painting Masters Art Exchange Exhibition” at the National Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan.
        Selected calligraphy and painting works participated in the issuance of commemorative stamp albums for the “Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC” large-scale documentary philatelic items.

        Also participated in overseas exhibitions such as the Bangkok Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, with works permanently collected by foreign art centers.
        Hong Kong Modern Culture Publishing House published my personal calligraphy and painting collection titled “Selected Works of Contemporary Chinese Masters: Liu Qi Calligraphy and Painting Collection”.
        Calligraphy and painting works participated in commemorative stamp issuance in Europe and America (USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria).
        In addition to researching and creating calligraphy and painting art, I am also engaged in calligraphy and painting education, nurturing new talents for the art industry.
