Personal Profile

Han Zhongxia, female, Han ethnicity, born in 1968 in Liaoning, ancestral home Hebei Renqiu, has loved fine arts since childhood. At age 16, she entered an art school and later pursued further studies in a decorative arts class, receiving guidance from pyrography master Li Ruiqun, from whom she greatly benefited. In 2000, she formed a bond with gourd art and specialized in gourd pyrography, diligently practicing with iron stylus and ink. After years of effort, her gourd pyrography gained widespread recognition and popularity, with many collectors vying to acquire her works. She is currently a member of the Xiong'an Branch of the China International Cultural Exchange Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
