Personal Profile
Zhang Yunbo, born in November 1970, is a native of Yongqing County, Langfang City, Hebei. He has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. In 1988, he apprenticed under Zhang Yongli, a meticulous-style painter from Shandong, and devoted himself to studying traditional Chinese meticulous painting. Later, he received guidance from Zhang Shaoshi, a disciple of Qi School master Lou Shihua, learning Qi School freehand-style flower-and-bird painting.
Currently: Council Member of the Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute of China Artists Association; Member of Beijing Xuanhe Art Research Society; Painter at Yichang Painting Academy; Contracted Artist of Hebei Broadcasting and Television Station’s Art Journey; Art Consultant for China Public Welfare Records Online. He has participated in numerous social and cultural activities and public welfare events, winning multiple awards. His works have been collected by many enterprises, institutions, and private individuals.
