Personal Profile

Ren Jiahe, styled Junfu, originally from Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, was once honored as one of Zhangjiakou’s Top Ten Youths, awarded the Third-Class Merit, recognized as an Outstanding Entrepreneur, and served as Vice President of the Federation of Industry and Commerce. He is also President of the Chinese Longren Calligraphy and Painting Academy and Vice President of the Hezhong Fengya Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Influenced since childhood by the paper-cutting art of Yuxian County in Zhangjiakou, he independently studied and researched this art form, eventually developing his own unique style. He has deeply studied and researched seal carving and epigraphy, learning under master seal carvers, and has thoroughly explored the perfect integration of paper-cutting, seal carving, and calligraphy-painting arts. He has successively created numerous innovative and outstanding works and continues to constantly renew his creations. His works have been treasured by friends around the world. Selected as a cultural emblem for the “Belt and Road” initiative, he has been recognized by the United Nations World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Foundation and the American Philatelic Group as an Outstanding Chinese Calligraphy Artist and an Outstanding Chinese Seal Carving Artist.
