 Zhang Guofu (Langyashan native), style name Yutian, pseudonym Zhuohan Xiangweng, Baishan, Langyashan native, Jizhong wanderer, wanderer, owner of Qimo Studio, pen name Qi Ru, studio name Qimo Zhai. Born in June 1946 (official records mistakenly list 1948) in Hebei Baoding, he enlisted and later transferred to civilian work in Yantai, Shandong, where he settled in the ancient Zhifu. He is Manchu (official household registration incorrectly lists Han ethnicity), with ancestral roots in the Baishan-Heishui region; his ancestors once followed the renowned Qing dynasty military and political leader Prince Dorgon into the pass and stationed in Beijing. Zhang Guofu has loved painting, calligraphy, and literary arts since childhood. His life has been filled with hardships and disasters—he attended school but barely learned to read or write, spending seven years in primary school while also serving as a nanny; he holds a diploma from the Shandong Provincial Trade Workers' University (class of 1989), an adult higher education program. He studied under renowned scholars and artists: Master Ba·Gangpulibu in traditional Chinese studies, celebrated master of poetry, prose, painting, and calligraphy Zhou Fumin, calligraphy educator Jia Dunchao, and painting instructor Tan Hongbin. Currently, he is a member of the China National Painters Association and works as a painter; a member of the Global Chinese Lyricists and Composers Association and serves as a lyricist; and a member of the Yantai Writers Association in China, working as a writer.
       After officially retiring in 2008 AD, he began learning computers and using the internet, starting to write his family history, genealogy, personal life story, and accounts of hardship. Two manuscripts, "My Mother" and "Zhang Guofu: Five Deaths, One Life – Memoirs," have been finalized. Since 2012, he has composed over a thousand poems and lyrics, currently being edited and compiled. Among them, three song lyrics—"Mother, Oh My Dear Mother," "Following the Party to Fulfill Dreams," and "I Love Langya Mountain"—have been set to music by composers and performed and recorded by singers. The lyrics for "I Love Langya Mountain" won the Gold Award for Lyric Creation at the 2014 "Golden Voice" Global Chinese Music Evaluation Exhibition.

       In March 2014 AD, his traditional Chinese paintings were selected for inclusion in a collectible commemorative album issued by China Post.
       In September 2014 AD, his traditional Chinese paintings were included in the 2014 World Poetic Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and the nationwide touring exhibition of renowned Chinese poetry, calligraphy, and painting masters.
       In 2016 AD, he was selected as a Great Wall Artist.
       In August 2017 AD, he was selected as a figure in the "Chinese Art Masters on World Stamps" series; his traditional Chinese paintings were issued as postage stamps and circulated in the United States, France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
       In August 2017 AD, he was listed on the AOBRAND "China's Excellent Brand Artists" list and recognized as an influential calligrapher and painter in the 2017 China Good Brand campaign.
       From August 20, 2017 AD, to August 20, 2018 AD, he was appointed as Art Director at Sotheby's Cultural and Art Development Center.
       In September 2017 AD, he was included in the "Encyclopedia of Calligraphers and Painters."
       In January 2018 AD, he was selected as one of the "Top 100 Outstanding Artists" featured in the Collection Art Network’s tribute to China's National "Two Sessions" in 2018.
       In November 2018 AD, he was included in "Art Rhyme Encyclopedia."
       In August 2019 AD, he was selected for the exhibition "Magnificent Seventy Years · Striving for a New Era – Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference," hosted by the CPPCC Committee of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
       In July 2020 AD, he was selected as a "Leading Figure in Contemporary Chinese Art."
       His artworks are collected by numerous calligraphy and painting collectors and enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.
