Wang Zhiming, born in 1985 in a rural village in Hengshui, Hebei Province, suffered from osteogenesis imperfecta at the age of five, resulting in a severe lifelong disability that prevents him from standing; he walks using two small wooden stools.

In 2002, he began studying inner painting art under Master Chen Runpu of the Ji School, becoming the third-generation inheritor of Ji School inner painting art. Under Master Chen’s meticulous instruction, his inner painting skills improved rapidly. Over the years, with guidance from multiple renowned masters such as Wang Jiuzhou and Yang Guoying, his inner painting artistry has continually advanced, and his works have been collected by many clients.

His inner painting subjects include landscapes, figures, animals, and flowers and birds. Representative works include “Landscape Figures Treading Song” and “Along the River During the Qingming Festival.” He has won multiple awards at exhibitions of artworks by disabled artists organized by the Hengshui Disabled Persons’ Federation. In 2008, his inner painting works were included in the “Collection of Works by Chinese Disabled Folk Artists.”
