Guo Yong, pen name (Dawang Chuanren), male, Han nationality, from Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, China. Currently serves as Standing Director of China Guoyi People's Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Member of China Calligraphers and Painters Association, Honorary President of Oriental Art Research Institute, and Visiting Professor at Huaxia Jingdu Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute. I have devoted over thirty years to the study of calligraphy and graduated from the Calligraphy Advanced Training Class of the China Calligraphers Association. My artistic works are distinctive, especially excelling in large-character calligraphy. I have participated in numerous national calligraphy competitions and exhibitions in Japan, the United States, Canada, and other countries, winning multiple awards. I have been honored with titles such as “Artist of Virtue and Artistic Excellence,” “People’s Artist,” “Internationally Renowned Shaolin Artist,” “One of the Top 100 Outstanding Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters,” and “Patriotic Chinese Artist.” My calligraphy works have been engraved in the Ling Shan Temple Stele Forest in Luoyang; some works have been permanently collected by domestic organizing institutions and professors and prominent figures from Japan’s Tokyo Academy of Painting, West Chester University in the United States, Canada, Australia, and other countries.
