Wang Xiong, styled Weixin, and known as the Master of Tengrui Pavilion, was born in 1975 in Shenze, Hebei. He graduated from the Arts and Crafts College of Baoding City, Hebei Province. Currently, he is a National First-Class Artist, a member of the Hebei Provincial Artists Association, a council member of the Chinese Folk Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, an academician of the Jinshang Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a specially appointed painter of the Hebei Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Vice President of the Hebei Provincial Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Vice President of the Hebei Provincial Landscape Research Association. His work "Autumn Dyes the Taihang Mountains" won the second prize in the National Young and Middle-aged Painting and Calligraphy Competition in 2003. "Mist and Clouds over the Gorges" won the silver award in the National Painting and Calligraphy Invitational Competition. His works are deeply loved and collected by friends from all walks of life!
