Zhao Hanzi, pen name "Da Han," was born in 1967 in Xingtai, Hebei Province. Growing up in a family of painters and calligraphers, he graduated from the Chinese Calligraphy Correspondence University. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a provincial calligrapher association member, a national gift artist, and has been honored with the title of Outstanding Chinese Artist. He specializes in running script and cursive script, modeling his works after renowned masters such as Wang Xizhi, Liu Gongquan, and Yan Zhenqing. Through years of diligent practice, he has accumulated profound theoretical knowledge and creative experience in calligraphy. His style is elegant, ancient, and majestic. His works have frequently appeared in newspapers and magazines, exhibited nationwide, and won numerous awards, earning consistent acclaim from calligraphy enthusiasts. Da Han's works have been showcased in art exhibitions across China and overseas. His unique "Bamboo Poetry Painting," also known as "Bamboo Blessing Painting" (a homophone for "Blessing Painting"), is an exquisite creation in which blessings or personal signatures are formed using bamboo leaves, integrating characters within the painting and images within the characters. This innovative art form offers viewers a highly aesthetic, refined, and sophisticated artistic gift. Many of his masterpieces have been collected by overseas institutions and domestic friends.
