Personal Profile

Feng Tao, courtesy name Yuan, pseudonym: Master of Nanyuan Studio. Born in 1990, native of Qing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. Currently resides in Jining City, Shandong Province, the homeland of Confucius and Mencius. Has loved painting since childhood, with acute sensitivity to classical literature, poetry, and color. Later attended art school—Binzhou Art Academy. Studied under renowned Jining calligraphers and painters Xu Baoming and Liu Jidun, as well as Sun Shankun, expert in Chinese cultural landscapes and totem-inspired cultural creations. Currently a professional painter, muralist, graffiti artist, and inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of hand-painted New Year pictures. Member of the Jining Calligraphy and Painting Association and council member of the Jining Yicheng Stone Carving Art and Culture Museum.
