His works have been included in publications such as “Artists Magazine” and “People’s Art.” His calligraphy practice began with Yan Zhenqing’s “Duobao Pagoda,” and later he developed a deep affinity for the calligraphy of Qing dynasty calligrapher Zhang Yuzhao, eventually establishing his own style based on Zhang’s school. For cursive script, he started with Wang Xizhi’s “Seventeen Posts,” then studied Wang Duo and Zhang Ruitu, gradually developing his personal style. His works have been selected for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Joint Exhibitions of Chinese National Art Exhibitions (Calligraphy Section), “Collection of Masterpieces by Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artists,” and other publications. ·
In 1994, his bird-and-flower painting “Spring Garden in Bloom” was selected for the “8th National Art Exhibition” and won the First Prize at the Hebei Provincial Art Exhibition. In 1991, he held a solo exhibition in Tianjin. In 1993, he created the large-scale bird-and-flower painting “Vast Rivers and Mountains in Crimson Red” for the Tiananmen Rostrum.
