Has been passionately devoted to calligraphy since childhood, specializing in running script, clerical script, and seal script. Studied clerical script under Professor Peng Miao of the Palace Museum as an indoor disciple, later studied seal script under General Zhao Yongliang of the PLA General Logistics Department. Decades of persistent practice have led to the formation of a unique artistic style: his calligraphy features neat and refined structures, distinctive charm, and rich artistic beauty, with smooth and elegant rhythm, fresh and graceful strokes, respecting tradition while not being bound by it.
His works have been exhibited multiple times in national and provincial/municipal calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and have been presented as state gifts to foreign friends for collection.
Artistic Achievements
Cao Cao’s “Short Song Style” (Celadon Gold Powder Small Seal Script) won First Prize in a National Calligraphy Competition.
Li Bai’s “Let Us Drink” (Eight-Foot Small Seal Script) was later collected by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.
In September 2020, selected by the State Gift Art Evaluation Center as “Leading Figure in Art of the New Era.”
