Wei Qiangzhong, born in 1982, is originally from Guilin, Guangxi. He was immersed in the art of painting and calligraphy from an early age,graduating from the Fine Arts Department of Guangxi Normal University (self-study program),and studying under renowned masters such as You Bingrong, Bai Xiaojun, Luo Kezhong, and Xu Fang.
He is currently the Executive Vice President of Guiyang Art Academy; a member of the Xiangshan District Artists Association in Guilin;Vice Chairman of the Guilin Branch of "Painting from Life China"; a member of the Guilin Municipal Government Art Academy;Specialized Painter of the Guilin Changtian Landscape Painting Research Institute; Council Member of the Chinese Young Painters Association;Senior Painter of the Zhongyuan Art Academy.
His works have won numerous awards at national art exhibitions and have been published in various art journals and magazines. His art draws inspiration from nature, embodying a serene and elegant style, with a simple and sincere aesthetic that has earned high praise from art professionals and strong demand from collectors. He is considered one of the most promising contemporary painters in terms of appreciation potential. On September 20, 2018, "Thousand Mountains in Verdant Dialogue" was published in the Guilin Daily [1], The "Great Wall" series from "The Spirit of China" was collected by the Guilin Museum in 2016, In 2016, he participated in the large-scale public welfare activity "Re-tracing the Long March, Building the Chinese Heart," co-hosted by Guangxi Television News Channel and the Guangxi Red Cross Foundation [2], In 2009, he published the book "Selected Works of Guiyang Art Academy," In 2005, he received an award at the Fifth Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition, In 1997, he won the "Three Celebrations" Gold Cup Award commemorating the return of Hong Kong.
