Luo Yijie

Personal Profile

Luo Yijie, born in August 1969 in Guilin, Guangxi, is a Zhuang. He is known by the courtesy name Yujie and the art name Shangguange Master. A member of the Guangxi Artists Association of China, a council member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Traditional Ink Research Institute, and a Level One Artist of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Creation Center. A prominent painter of the Lingnan School of Painting and a Level One Artist of the Guilin Academy of Painting. His work "Spring in North Guangxi" won the Excellence Award at the 2015 Freehand Brushwork Chinese Painting Exhibition.
