Personal Profile
Li Yun, originally from Quanzhou, Guangxi, currently resides in Shenzhen. He has studied under: Professor Huang Gesheng, his graduate advisor at the School of Chinese Painting, Guangxi Arts College (specializing in landscape painting); Master Tang Xiuling, a renowned instructor in meticulous color painting at the China National Academy of Painting and a formal disciple; and Master He Jiaying, instructor at the Institute of Gongbi Painting, China Art Academy — 2019 First Training Program on the Copying and Technical Research of Murals along the Ancient Silk Road. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the China Gongbi Painting Society, Deputy Director of the Xintianlong Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a council member of the Longhua Artists Association, and a council member of the Dafen Artists Association. His meticulous color paintings are collected by provincial and municipal art museums, as well as collectors in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Japan.
Exhibition History:
In 2014, selected for 2 exhibitions hosted by the China Artists Association;
In 2015, selected for 11 exhibitions hosted by the China Artists Association, including 3 Outstanding Awards (highest honor);
In 2016, selected for 2 exhibitions hosted by the China Artists Association, including 1 Outstanding Award (highest honor);
In 2017, selected for 3 national Chinese painting exhibitions;
In 2018, selected for 1 exhibition hosted by the China Artists Association and received a Collection Award;
In 2019, his work "Miao Family Portrait" was selected for the 13th National Art Exhibition and collected by the Shandong Art Museum.
