His peony and bird-and-flower paintings are vivid yet tasteful, fresh and translucent, elegant and graceful, yet潇洒 (free and unrestrained). His landscape paintings feature rigorous composition, with continuous mountain ranges conveying grandeur and profound artistic conception.
